August Business…

 

Ø Partner draw for the Saturday August 14th tournament at Konawa

Ø Three fundraisers to choose from:

Ø  You can get people to sponsor you in the Konawa tournament, this is similar to a heart walk. You can get people to donate money to how you finish in this tournament.

Ø We will be having a summer night tournament on August 20^th, this is an open partner tournament.

Ø Anyone wanting to fish in the newly created North OKC Bassmasters Match Fishing Championship should be at this meeting to draw for partners.

 

·        July Meeting minutes...

Attendance for the July meeting were: Steve Clark, Allen Anderson, Gene Gilliland, Olen Hicks, Wayne Minyard, Greg Scallan. Chuck Boso, Gary Barnicoat, Richard Minyard, Terry Clinkenbeard, Donnie Judy, Tim Fox, Bobby Jones, and Mike Paul.       

·         President’s report (Gene Gilliland):

Buying Program from Lurenet and Pure Fishing are still in effect – contact Gene for information.

·         Vice President’s Report (Riley Cooper):

·         Secretary’s report (Richard Minyard): Please keep Richard updated on any phone number or email address changes. Roster will be updated monthly.  If you volunteer for any youth activities, let me know so I can record your points.  New Bylaws and Tournament Rules will be posted on website when they are completed.

·         Treasurer’s Report (Steve Clark):  Report was submitted and approved, available on request. 

·         Conservation report (Jim Marsh):  Collecting fishing line for recycling – bring to meeting. Got recycling boxes from Berkley at Lucky Lures. Looking into more at BPS.

·         Youth report (Terry Clinkenbeard): Junior club had tournament at Sportsman’s Lake.  Youth events are required of State Team members and anyone fishing DQTs.  Camp Cavett is July 10^th.
